40 Days For Life

Letter to the Editor

Tuesday, February 10, 2009
To the Editor:

We are having the third annual 40 Days for Life to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. From Feb. 25 through April 5, our community will be uniting with more than 125 cities, 42 states, four Canadian provinces and one American territory and the District of Columbia. The spring 2009 40 Days for Life campaign is going to be the largest and longest coordinated pro-life initiative in history. Forty Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign that has generated measurable lifesaving results in every community where it has been implemented. Some cities have reported as much as a 40 percent drop in local abortion numbers. The 40 Days for Life campaign is made up of three key components — prayer and fasting, peaceful vigil and community outreach. Will you come and be a witness for the unborn in our neighborhood? Come and witness at Planned Parenthood SEPA, 78 2nd Avenue, across from the Collegeville Shopping Center in Collegeville, with available parking in the Acme Lot. Learn more by visiting www.40daysforlife.com/collegeville. Learn more by calling Rita Smith at 610-489-1929. Love to see you there.

Theresa Leitold, M.E.V. (Missionaries of the Gospel of Life), Trappe
