Sestak And Khalid Sheikh Mohammed

To The Editor, It is regrettable that Representative Joe Sestak, D., Pa., a veteran, strongly supports the administration’s decision to try the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM), in a civilian criminal court in New York City, rather than by military tribunal, which would have far fewer compilations and potential problems.  KSM murdered 3,000 plus people and was water boarded, which many forget was done to protect the American people. Will confessions obtained and evidence against him be thrown out because of a perceived violation of his “constitutional rights?” This is far less likely to happen in a military tribunal than in a civilian court.
