How People In Israel Maintain A Sense Of Humor

Jerusalem — Featured in two major news items this Wednesday: The 65th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp and the observance of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, and the announcement from the Iranian government that Iran had indeed achieved enough nuclear capacity to “nuke Tel Aviv.”
Therefore, on Thursday morning, the lead editorial cartoon in Israel’s leading newspaper, Yediot, shows Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad talking to scientists who are working on a missile with a nuclear warhead. Ahmadinejad calls out to them, “So, will it be ready for International Holocaust Remembrance Day next year?”
